How Rhubarb billing works

Plans

Plan limits and prices are shown from Rhubarb’s current tier configuration where practical. Intro is available only to eligible users with a qualifying registration code.

Pay-as-you-go

Pay-as-you-go is for trying Rhubarb. It has no monthly subscription charge, but it may require a saved payment method. You can purchase AI top-up credits when you need more AI capacity. If automatic AI top-ups are enabled, Rhubarb may use your saved payment method according to the automatic AI top-up terms shown before you confirm.

Basic, Pro, and Intro

• Basic is a monthly subscription for individuals building and sharing recurring work.
• Pro is a monthly subscription for organizations that need higher limits, full members, lower AI top-up credit pricing, faster refresh, and account-level sharing controls.
• Intro is a registration-code-only 3-month trial of Basic. After the trial, Intro converts to Basic at the then-current Basic monthly price unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Member seats

• Read-only members can securely view assigned data sources, visualizations, and dashboards according to account security-group settings.
• Full members, where available, can create, edit, and manage resources in the account according to their role and account permissions.
• Paid read-only and full-member seats are usable only after payment is confirmed.
• If a paid seat is canceled, the seat remains active through the paid-through period and is disabled after the cancellation takes effect.

Downgrades, cancellations, and locked resources

• User-requested downgrades and cancellations keep the current paid plan active until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
• After a downgrade, lower plan limits apply. Resources above the lower tier’s limits may become locked.
• Locked resources are not deleted, but they may not be editable, refreshable, publishable, or available for new work until you upgrade or reduce usage below your plan limits.
• You can cancel or change plans from Billing settings. If you cancel a paid plan, your account moves to Pay-as-you-go after the paid-through period unless another plan is selected.

Public views

Public-view billing is not currently active. Plan cards show public-view allowances and future overage pricing for transparency. Rhubarb will not charge public-view overages unless public-view billing is enabled and the applicable billing terms are shown before charges begin.

Refunds, disputes, and AI credit clawbacks

• Subscription charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly approved by Rhubarb.
• If an AI top-up credit purchase is refunded, disputed, or reversed, Rhubarb may remove the corresponding AI top-up credits from your account balance.
• If you are charged an increased recurring subscription amount and cancel within 14 days after that increased charge, Rhubarb provides a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of that billing period.

Plan and pricing changes

• A material Rhubarb plan or price change applies on the first billing renewal on or after the change’s effective date, after Rhubarb has provided advance notice. If you do not agree, you can cancel or change plans before that renewal.
• Downgrades and cancellations requested by the user keep the current plan active until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
• If you are charged an increased recurring subscription amount and cancel within 14 days after that increased charge, Rhubarb provides a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of that billing period.
• Material changes to automatic AI top-up price, pack size, or trigger threshold may require renewed confirmation before automatic AI top-ups continue.
• Rhubarb will not begin charging a new category of usage-based fees, such as public-view overages, unless the applicable billing terms are disclosed before charges begin and any required consent is obtained.
